What is a lobby card? Lobby cards were a unique set of images distributed to cinemas at the same time as a movie poster. In the United Kingdom these images measured 10 x 8 inches and were displayed at the entrance to a cinema, hence the term ‘front of house’. Lobby cards are considered to be as important as an original movie poster and are much sought after by collectors.
